Part 1 -- Peggi demonstrates some simple guidelines for getting accuracy in your drawing such as making reference points and getting angles correct.(16 minutes)

Part 2 -- Peggi  paints a demonstration showing light on form and defining the vocabulary in a simple value painting.  She shows how using some forms from the kit can help with understanding forms in nature.  Painting a sphere and a cube can apply to painting a creamer and stick of butter. (40 minutes)

Part 3 --  Peggi goes over some of the basics for color and the language.  She then demonstrates these principles  using forms from the kit. (48 minutes)

*Please note Full Kit includes all basic colors and comprehensive coverage of tints, shades and earth tones. Half Kit includes basic tube colors, black, white and grays. Painting from the Half-Kit creates an educational format, however these colors are raw and bright, which is why we created the extra box of colors to aid in creating more harmonic exercises. 

The Artists MVP is a unique assemblage of 3 plexi-glass ‘viewers’ on a lanyard for assisting the artist with their painting and in viewing their subject matter. The plexi-glass Mirror enables artists to look at their painting and/or subject in reverse making inaccuracies easier to see. The Value Viewer is a piece of transparent dark red plexi- glass enabling the artist to see only shades of lights and darks for determining the appropriate value relationship to be painted. The Planner, from Artwork Essentials, is a clear piece of plexi-glass with a 1/2” black border surrounding a black lined grid enabling the viewer to determine desired composition and accuracy in drawing of the subject. All 3 plexi-glass viewers are 3”x4”x 1/8” with a 1/4” hole drilled in a corner suspended on a 1-1/4” key ring and attached to a lanyard. Cost: $24.95
