Peggi and Ray have over 30 years combined experience teaching to all levels. Many students have gone to teach on their own. We offer traditional art lessons with a strategy to clearly understand how to approach a painting; how to translate what you see to a canvas. Having the opportunity of studying with several of yesterdays masters, they're able to pass on information about painting that's been mainly overlooked for the past 50 years. Light and shadow, composition, color, materials, setting up for painting outdoors, working from photographs, dealing with changing light. They teach the fundamentals and approach for laying a foundation to build upon. This approach enables the artist to develop their own 'voice' with painting.
