| Peggi Kroll Roberts introduces her new series of DVD lessons. Each lesson features one aspect of painting for students to focus on. The DVD lessons are 30 minutes and also include an introduction, a slide show, her 13 minute materials and supplies clip, biography and website link. DVD lessons and slide shows are unique to each DVD. Introduction, biography, materials and supplies clip, and website link are standard and repeated on each DVD. You don't always need to render all the masses to achieve a completed look in a painting. This demonstration shows how even with a simplified shadow mass and a little more information in the lights, you can get a painting to say just as much as one that is fully rendered. This example supports that old saying of, "less is more". A good tool for achieving simplistic charm in a painting. |
