The challenge with painting is every location has its demands and strategy with the way one approaches their painting. Situational challenges from water to atmospheric perspective, from bright colors to light/dark shapes; all have their considerations. Most times Ray starts with the dark shapes but occasionally he may put a bright color down first or isolate a very light shape.answering your questions live
