The focus of this class will be waves and water in its many situations; backlit, front-lit, front view, side view, crashing, with rocks, without rocks, cloudy, sunny, foam patterns, and on and on. Ray's approach to understanding water and waves is through the combining of studio and location work to capture the ocean in its enchanting situations.
This class will be an intense combination of studio prep and demo followed by 2 days on location and finally finishing up with 1 day in the studio using our studies and photo info to work up a finished small painting(s).
Laptop or tablet is necessary.
